 Judy Bishop, President and General Manager of Bishop & Company, has over thirty years of staffing experience which include managing local, national and international offices on the US mainland, in Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. She has served as a Franchise Owner, Regional Vice- President, Division Vice- President, Asia Pacific Director, and COO for Australia-New Zealand.
A Cajun from Louisiana, Judy worked three years in the staffing industry before she opened her own company, at the age of 25. Within a few years, she also opened a retail art and frame shop, an exhibition art gallery, and a childcare center. After 15 years managing these businesses, Judy sold them and pursued other opportunities around the world.
Well-traveled and cultured thanks to years of experience in the staffing industry globally, Judy finally settled in Hawaii where she is frequently requested to share her knowledge on topics such as interviewing, resume writing, and networking. She enjoys mentoring and coaching young women, and her served on the Board of Directors of The Womens' Fund, Organization of Women Leaders, Alakaii Networking Roundtable, and the Hawaii Society of Corporate Planners. She is also an active member of the YWCA, Society of Human Resource Managers, the Hawaii Staffing Association, Honolulu Rotary, and Honolulu Executive Association.
